Every once in a
while kittens will be available from cattery Alyona.
My
kittens will only move from the age of 14-16 weeks and exclusively
to loving, permanent homes.
Don’t be scared by the amount of
questions I have for you, as I just care a lot about where my
kittens end up.
I’ll also answer any questions you might have!
An absolute condition is that kittens of my breeding are not
to be let outside to roam freely.
If you even just
consider letting your Russian Blue roam outside freely, do not
enquire with me for a kitten!
Unless the owner is home
often, I also prefer not to place kittens by themselves, which
doesn’t mean the second cat should be a Russian Blue.
As cats are very social animals, people who intend to keep more
than one cat are always considered before those who intend to
keep only one.
I work
with contracts that guarantee certain things for the owner as
well as the cat. This contract is available for reading a good
period before signing, even as all the available data on the
parents of the litter.
Before the kitten can move you may
visit it as often as you like, starting at age 3 weeks. These
first 3 weeks are meant to give new moms a chance to come to
their senses and get a hang of mothering. Of course you’re
welcome to come meet her and her friends and family before the
delivery!
Kittens will go to their new owners after they
have received all necessary inoculations and deworming
treatments. They will also be micro chipped. Next to the
kitten’s passport and its official NRKV pedigree you will also
receive copies of the parents’ most recent HCM- and PKD- test
results and a CD with a slideshow of all the pictures I made of
the kitten while still here. The kitten will have been declared
healthy by a vet and be free of any parasites.
If at all
possible I will come bring the kittens to their new homes so I
can see the environment my baby will spend its life in.
Maybe I could even help the kitten through this transition and
give some last-minute advice. To help the introduction along
even more, all new owners will receive a package containing
information and the nutrition and the litter the kittens are
most accustomed to. Even though I prefer to feed my cats a raw
diet, the kittens will also have learnt to eat kibble and canned and they
will be familiar with different types of cat litter.
Kittens that are staying in Holland will also come with one
month's free insurance with Petplan.
